  • Our Sales Specialist will begin the process with you by demonstrating our fundraising database application for you and your team to allow you to understand the features and functions available for you to use.
  • A Business Needs Analysis is performed where a team of people from Bernard meet with the members of your staff who will be asked questions about the needs you have for fundraising.
  • We collect a snapshot of sample data from your existing fundraising data to create the map of how your data will be converted into our software.
  • Once the map is created we can use the information from the business needs analysis to estimate the hours required for the conversion and begin the scheduling process for the conversion.
  • We begin the process of setting up the test database, acquiring a full copy of your data and converting your data to the new mapping.
  • During the data conversion period you and your team can go through a training program and use the demonstration database to learn about the new features and functions.
  • A testing period comes next where you have access to your data in the test environment while we fine tune your needs and provide any customization.
  • Clients run reports from the new system to compare to the legacy system and to certify that the conversion is complete.
  • A new data set from the legacy system is then captured and converted to Bernard to be sure any data captured between the first data capture and the testing period is included in the final database.
  • Clients spend the next period doing acceptance testing and working with Bernard to resolve any issues and understand any operational changes.
  • Client acceptance of the system is followed by a period of training and issue resolution.
